Tailored resume

Tailor your resume to each job with AI

Your experience does not change. What changes is which part of it matters for a given role. That is the part the agent handles, without inventing anything.

What "tailoring" actually means

Tailoring means order, emphasis and wording change; the facts do not. If a role centres on cloud architecture, your infrastructure projects move up and get more space. Your roles, dates, degrees and titles stay exactly as they are. Every generated line has to trace back to a specific entry in your profile. Where it cannot, the line is not written.

In short
  • A complete resume, not a summary
  • Relevant experience first
  • Language from the posting reflected
  • No invented skills or roles
How it works

How tailoring works

Read the posting

The listing is parsed for what it actually emphasises: technologies, scope of responsibility, seniority, industry context.

Select the evidence

From your profile, the roles and projects that genuinely speak to those points are selected.

Write and verify

The selected points are written for this role and then checked back against your profile. Statements without evidence are rejected or corrected.

Produce the document

The result is a complete, designed resume as a PDF in one of several templates. That version stays linked to the application.

Rewriting it yourself or having it tailored

By hand With the agent
Time per role 20 to 60 minutes reviewing, not writing
Consistency varies stable
Versions CV_final_v3.pdf stored per application
Evidence check in your head verified automatically
Layout fighting Word designed templates

When this matters most

With several role profiles

Someone credible as both an engineer and a lead needs two very different presentations of one career.

When changing direction

If the link between your background and the target role is not obvious, presentation carries more weight than usual.

Applying into Germany

German CV conventions differ from a US resume. A complete document with full history is what employers here expect to receive.

Complete, not condensed

A tailored resume here is not an extract or a teaser. It contains your full career history so you can actually submit it.

  • Full professional history
  • Education, degrees and certificates
  • Languages and skills
  • Contact details and, if stored, a photo
  • Several designed templates to choose from

Limitations

What does not happen

No invented skills

If a listing asks for a technology your profile does not evidence, it is not added. It appears as an open point in the match instead.

No massaged dates

Gaps are not hidden and dates are not shifted. Both surface in the interview and cost more than they gain.

No ATS guarantee

The structure is built to be machine-readable. Whether a specific system passes an application on depends on its configuration and cannot be promised from outside.

No substitute for reading it

Read every version before you submit it. It is your resume and your name on it.

FAQ

Questions about tailored resumes

Will the AI invent experience I do not have?
No, and this is checked technically. Every generated statement is verified against your stored profile. Anything that cannot be evidenced is corrected or dropped before you see the document.
German CV or English resume?
Both are possible. As a rule the language of the listing is the safer choice; at international companies in the DACH region that is often English. German applications also conventionally expect a complete history rather than a one-page summary.
How many versions can I generate?
That depends on your plan. A tailored application set costs three credits and the free plan includes 60 credits a month. Exact allowances are on the pricing page.
