When time is short
A full-time job, a family, side projects. The search keeps running even if you do not open it for two weeks.
Instead of working through the same portals every evening, you define once what you are looking for and on what terms. After that the search runs continuously in the background and you only review results.
AI job search means software does the searching: it queries several job sources continuously, removes duplicate listings, reads each posting for content and compares it against your profile and your rules. The difference from a job alert is the judgement. An alert sends you everything containing a keyword. An AI-driven search decides whether the role fits your experience, your salary range and your location rules, and explains that decision.
The agent regularly queries the connected job sources, including the Bundesagentur für Arbeit job search (the German federal employment agency), Arbeitnow, several remote job boards, and public company career pages via Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters and Workable.
The same role often appears on several portals. Identical and near-identical listings are merged before scoring, so you see a role once rather than four times.
Each new listing is parsed once: the role, the experience required, location, remote policy and salary where stated. This happens once globally, not again for every user.
Only then does your profile come in. The role is checked against each of your active career tracks. If it fits at least one, it reaches your list with an explanation. If it fits none, you never see it.

A full-time job, a family, side projects. The search keeps running even if you do not open it for two weeks.
You are not fixed on one job title and want to watch several directions in parallel.
Remote, a salary floor, commuting distance or willingness to relocate depending on the role. Not one filter for everything.
German and English listings run in the same search, so you are not filtering an unfamiliar market by hand.
Say you are a backend engineer who has moved to Germany. You work remotely only, unless it is a lead role. Data science would also be interesting, but only above a certain salary. On a conventional job board that is three separate searches you have to maintain three times.
So you know what you are getting.
Positions filled through networks and never advertised are out of reach for any automated search. Part of the market stays personal.
LinkedIn, Indeed and StepStone are not scraped server-side. The source list is growing, but it is not the entire market.
Many German listings state no salary at all. A salary floor can only apply where the listing gives a figure or one can be derived reliably.
It is a decision aid, not a verdict. That is why every recommendation states what it rests on and what remains open.
