What is an AI job agent?
An AI job agent supports several steps of a job search rather than just listing vacancies. YourJobAgent continuously queries public job sources, scores each role against your profile and rules, prepares matching application documents and keeps the status of your applications in one place.
Does YourJobAgent apply to jobs automatically?
Not by default. On Free (and optionally on Pro) you use the browser extension: documents are generated, the form is filled — you submit yourself. Pro and Pro Plus additionally let you turn on autonomous applying; the server then submits, but only above your minimum match score, within your daily cap, and only when no open form question is blocking.
What is the difference between the extension and autonomous applying?
The browser extension works on the page you have open: it fills fields, attaches documents, and you read everything before clicking submit. That is available on Free, Pro and Pro Plus. Autonomous applying is a paid feature (Pro and Pro Plus): the server opens the form, fills it and submits — opt-in, off by default, with a score floor and daily cap.
What do credits pay for?
Matching and filtering are free. Credits are spent on role-specific documents (2 credits: intro + cover letter), on submitting and tracking an application (5 credits — via extension or autonomous applying), and once per new form in the extension (1 credit, then cached). Every plan has a monthly allowance; unused credits expire at month end.
What happens when the agent cannot answer a form question?
Required questions it cannot settle — for example a missing phone number, work authorization or an employer-specific detail — are never guessed. The application pauses, the question appears under Questions in the dashboard and you get a notification. Once you answer (or save the fact under Settings → Answers), the run continues. The same applies to the extension and autonomous applying.
Do I need to speak German to find a job in Germany?
It depends entirely on the role. Many tech, data and startup positions in Germany are advertised and worked in English, while a large part of the wider market is German-language. YourJobAgent searches both language environments in the same run, so English-language opportunities surface without you having to filter for them manually, and German-language postings are not hidden from you either.
Which job sources does YourJobAgent search?
Currently the Bundesagentur für Arbeit job search, Arbeitnow, several remote job boards, and public company career pages via the Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters and Workable applicant tracking systems. The list is expanded continuously. Platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed and Stepstone are not scraped server-side.
Does YourJobAgent tailor my resume to a job posting?
Yes. The agent restructures your resume for the specific role and brings the relevant experience and skills forward. Every statement must trace back to information in your profile. Skills you have not evidenced are not added.
Can I search for several different roles at once?
Yes, that is what career tracks are for. You can run several roles in parallel, each with its own salary floor, location rule and remote policy. A role is recommended as soon as it fits at least one active track.
Can I use YourJobAgent while I am still employed?
Yes. You define the conditions under which a move would even be interesting, for example above a certain salary or fully remote only. The agent monitors the market in the background and only surfaces roles above that threshold. No public "open to work" signal is required.
Does it work for Austria and Switzerland?
The DACH region is the strategic target market, and remote roles with a European scope are already covered. Local source coverage is currently strongest for Germany because the Bundesagentur für Arbeit job search is integrated directly. Austria and Switzerland are covered through company career pages and remote sources, and are being expanded.
Is YourJobAgent a mass auto-apply bot?
No, and that is a deliberate product decision. The focus is on relevant roles, explainable matching and well-targeted documents. Sending large volumes of near-identical applications lowers quality and damages your name at exactly the companies you may want to apply to properly later.
What happens to my data?
Your profile, documents and applications belong to you. They are used to score roles and generate documents, and are not sold as an advertising product. The platform is being built to European data protection expectations. Details are in the privacy policy.
Is YourJobAgent free?
Access is free during the closed beta. After that there is a permanently free plan with 60 credits per month, plus Pro at €29 and Pro Plus at €59 per month. Payment is not currently enabled.
